THERAPEUTIC PREVENTIVE PROPERTIES
Chatonnel Light Litter (CLL) is now available to the North American animal healthcare market.
It is considered a breakthrough in the domestic care of companion animals. CLL completes the range
of therapeutic veterinary products offered to your clients for their cats.
CLL's hygienic properties increase a better control of urinary diseases. Its white colour facilitates
a visual detection of haematuria, bilirubinuria or polyuria, permits a rapid intervention, and improves
the prognosis.
FEATURES OF CLL:
- Cramethychlor® powder on the CLL twists includes a mixture of hygienic plants, sodium chloride and ethylene diamine tetra acetic (EDTA).
- CLL powder will adhere to the animals' pads and interdigital hairs, then will be ingested during the animals' daily grooming sessions.
- The Cramethychlor® ingested in this manner contributes to the maintenance of a healthy urinary tract.
BENEFITS OF CLL:
- The hygienic plants are dried and pulverised into tiny particles which are retained in an optimal quantity by the CLL's cellulose fibres.
- Due to the easy adherence of the powder to its paws, the animal ingests the powder effortlessly during its grooming sessions.
- Cramethychlor® ingestion is directly proportional to the animal's usage of the litter.
- This original plant formula increases the solubility of minerals in urine and protects the mucous membrane of the urinary tract.
ADVANTAGES OF CRAMETHYCHLOR®:
- These hygienic plants were selected for their beneficial characteristics on the urinary tract, improving the resistance of irritation to the mucous membrane.
- Decreases the struvite and calcium oxalate mineral crystallisation.
- The presence of sodium chloride increases thirst and promotes better circulation in the urinary tract.
- EDTA, a chelation agent, combined to calcium permits the partial elimination of the calcium by the
intestine, diminishes renal elimination and, consequently, reduces the formation of calcium oxalate
crystals in the urinary system.
Studies have shown a 45% reduction in solid matter in the urine of animals using CLL.
The synergy of the CLL components diminishes significantly the Felin Urinary Syndrom (FUS).
Réf.: Studies by Dr. Jean-Marc Vaillancourt - A total of 360 cats were used in the study and none were
euthanized. Dr. Michel Fontaine, Laboratoires Diagnostiques Vétérinaires du Québec, conducted the analysis.
